Our client previously partnered with a Sitecore vendor based out of the UK to run and manage their website. Different time zones, communication issues, lack of status updates, responsiveness to site issues, and delayed requests, resulted in their need to find a new partner.
The client wanted a United States based partner that offered a combination of deep technical experience and creativity, a history of delivering projects on time and at a competitive price, and who could demonstrate team collaboration to achieve effective knowledge transfer.
RDA stepped into the project by first assessing their Sitecore environment to assume site management and updates to help the client achieve its vision.
After the initial assessment, RDA migrated their Sitecore environment to Microsoft Azure, updated it to include best practices, such as setting up the Experience Editor, and trained their employees to easily edit content with little outside assistance. While their employees can make simple changes, RDA’s team provides managed services for updates or fixes, adds new features requested by the marketing team, and performs various ad hoc services and application support on a weekly basis.
Managed Services also includes monthly patch support, backups of key databases, performance monitoring, and 24x7 outage response for restoring the site when offline. This is offered at a fixed rate that fits into the client’s budget.
